Department for Transport (DfT) | Emissions Factors Toolkit (EFT)

A business case preparation workshop presented by DfT. To increase the accuracy of road user carbon appraisal, DfT have issued new advice relating to the use of the EFT or an alternative tool. The advice asks the promoters to use both Transport Users Benefit Appraisal (TUBA) and EFT (or an alternative suitable tool) to report the scheme’s impact on road user greenhouse gases emissions in the Outline Business Case and Full Business Case.
