The webinar brings insights from two leading voices in the field, whose organisations are supporting DRT in East Sussex and beyond: Menno van der Zee Co-Founder and Director of Algorithms at The Routing Company Menno van der Zee will explore the practical challenges of delivering DRT services efficiently. He’ll delve into the algorithmic foundations powering modern DRT, how constraints shape solutions, and what's on the horizon with continued advancements in AI and real-time optimisation. Devon Barrett CTO of Podaris Devon will share insights from a transport planning perspective - exploring how data-driven decision-making is reshaping how DRT schemes are conceived, launched, and scaled. Following the presentations, BCoE will host a live Q&A on what the future of responsive public transport could look like.
