- Key areas of focus that have been requested include:

- AI in transport planning

- Modelling and forecasting

- Data and analytics

- Awareness of emerging technologies

- Maintaining and prioritising transport schemes

- Supporting business case development

If there is something specific you’d like us to cover in these topics, please drop us a line at coe@transportforthesoutheast.org.uk

Interviews were held with members of the CoE Steering Group and key barriers to success were discuss. A major theme that emerged was Local Authorities’ eagerness to share knowledge and collaborate. Each authority has a wide range of skills and expertise that could contribute to our community of best practice and lessons learned, and this year, we will offer authorities more opportunities to tap into this.

Get involved

We’re building the Centre of Excellence with you and for you. Please get in touch if you’d like to contribute a case study, resource, or learning, or if you have any suggestions about future areas of focus. Contact us at coe@transportforthesoutheast.org.uk.

It identifies the crucial need for more high quality warehousing in the South East. TfSE will engage through the Wider South East Freight Forum to understand how these shortages can be addressed.
