Discover how different modelling approaches impacted business case success, with a Local Authority Showcase.
4. Data Science and AI | In Person
An introduction to the field of Data Science and AI for Transport Training Day.
Date: TBC | Location: Venue TBC (hybrid options will be considered)
We’re developing a comprehensive hands-on training experience designed to help you apply AI confidently in transport planning and data analysis. Topics include:
AI essentials: Key concepts and ethics
Practical sessions:
- Using Copilot to generate, explain, and debug Python code
- How to apply prompt engineering to summarise policy documents and analyse qualitative data
- Exploration of AI-powered data cleaning, pattern detection, and hypothesis generation
Guided case study: Analyse a full transport dataset using AI tools, create visualisations, and interpret results.
