Carbon Assessment Playbook
The Carbon Assessment Playbook has been developed by England’s Subnational Transport Bodies to provide an evidence-led, quantifiable approach to carbon reduction in the development of local transport strategies and plans.
The CAP has two key components:
Carbon baseline dashboards for each local transport authority, showing how emissions are forecast to change.
Policy builder, which enables you to explore the potential carbon reduction impact of different interventions.
On this page, you can navigate through to both parts of the tool, and gain quick access to their supporting documents and tutorials.
This tool has been developed jointly by Subnational Transport Bodies to support local transport authorities put the DfT's Quantifiable Carbon Guidance into practice.
