This specialist clinic will support local authorities and practitioners in selecting and applying the right modelling approaches for active travel business cases.
Following the capability survey request for targeted support, and building on the recent blog on forecasting the impact of active travel interventions (covering Comparative Study, Sketch Plan, Four Stage Model, and Microsimulation/Agent Based Modelling), this session will provide practical guidance and case-based insight.
The clinic will cover:
• Applying the Active Mode Appraisal Toolkit and meeting TAG and DfT requirements
• Local authority case studies highlighting benefits, impacts, and lessons learned
• Technical commentary from Dr Joshua Jiao, Analysis Manager, on challenges, options, and best practice Each segment will conclude with Q&A to address real-world project needs.
